শ্যামনগরে করোনা ইস্যুতে অভিভাবকদের মাঝে ভাব-বাংলাদেশের সহযোগিতায় প্রায় ৫ লক্ষ টাকা বিতরণ

ডেক্স রিপোর্টঃসাতক্ষীরার শ্যামনগর উপজেলায় স্বেচ্ছাসেবী সংস্থা ভাব-বাংলাদেশের পক্ষ থেকে করোনা ভাইরাসের কারণে ক্ষতিগ্রস্থ স্বল্প আয়ের অভিভাবকদের মাঝে নগদ অর্থ বিতরণ করা হয়েছে। শুক্রবার(২৪এপ্রিল) বিকালে অনানুষ্ঠানিকভাবে অর্থ বিতরণ উদ্বোধন করেন সাতক্ষীরা-৪ আসনের জাতীয় সংসদ সদস্য এস. এম, জগলুল হায়দার। পরে উপজেলা নির্বাহী অফিসার আ. ন. ম আবুজার গিফারী তার কার্যালয়ে ভাব -বাংলাদেশ এর নিযুক্ত অ্যাম্বেসেডরদের উদ্দেশ্যে করোনা ইস্যুতে সরকারের নির্দেশনা সর্বক্ষেত্রে জানানোর আহবান জানানো হয়। পরে এক অভিভাবকের হাতে নগদ অর্থ বিতরণ করে সন্তানদের ঘরে রেখে লেখাপড়ায় নিমগ্ন থাকার অাহবান জানান।এ সময় অন্যান্যদের মধ্যে উপস্থিত ছিলেন ভাব বাংলাদেশ সহায়তার অন্তর্ভুক্ত কাঁঠাল বাড়িয়া এ.জি মাধ্যমিক বিদ্যালয়ের প্রধান শিক্ষক আজাহারুল ইসলাম, অ্যাম্বেসেডরদের প্রধান সমন্বয়কারী আব্দুল আলিম প্রমূখ।


ভাব বাংলাদেশের পক্ষ থেকে শ্যামনগরে সংস্থাটির প্রকল্পভুক্ত ১৫টি মাধ্যমিক বিদ্যালয় থেকে স্বল্প আয়ের ৩২০ অভিভাবক ও ননএমপিও শিক্ষক-কর্মচারীদের মাঝে প্রত্যেককে ২০ কেজি চাল, ৫ কেজি আলু, ৩ কেজি ডাল, ২লিটার তেল, ২টি সাবান, ২ কেজি পিয়াজ, ১ কেজি লবণ, ৫০০ গ্রাম রসুনের আনুমানিক মূল্য হিসেবে নগদ মোট ১,৫০০ টাকা করে দেয়া হয়। সংস্থাটির পক্ষ থেকে শ্যামনগরে মোট ৩২০ টি পরিবারের মাঝে ৪ লক্ষ৮০হাজার টাকা বিতরণ করা হচ্ছে। ভাব বাংলাদেশের পক্ষ থেকে মিউচুয়াল ট্রাস্ট ব্যাংক হরিনগর এবি শাখার মাধ্যমে সামাজিক দূরত্ব বজায় রেখে অর্থ বিতরণ করছেন ভাব বাংলাদেশের ৯ জন অ্যাম্বেসেডর। অ্যাম্বেসেডরদের প্রধান সমন্বয়কারী আব্দুল আলিমের নেতৃত্বে অর্থ বিতরণ করছেন আবু ইসহাক হোসাইন, এস. এম ওবায়দুল্লাহ, মাহফুজুর রহমান, নাসিম আলী, নাইম হোসেন, আলাউদ্দিন হোসেন, আলী রেজা রিপন ও হেলাল হোসেন।ভাব বাংলাদেশ কান্ট্রি ডিরেক্টর প্রফেসর ড. জসিমউজ জামান করোনা ভাইরাস নিয়ে উদ্বিগ্ন হয়ে জানান, ভাব বাংলাদেশ করোনা ইস্যুতে অভিভাবক ও শিক্ষার্থীদের দুর্দশা বিশেষ বিবেচনায় করে ক্ষুদ্রপরিসরে হলেও সহায়তার হাত বাড়িয়ে দিয়েছে, যা সমাজের বিত্তবানরা যার যার অবস্থা থেকে জাতির এ ক্লান্তিলগ্নে অসহায়দের পাশে দাঁড়াতে অনুপ্রাণিত করবে।ভাব – বাংলাদেশের সিনিয়র প্রোগ্রাম ম্যানেজার এম. এ. আলিম খান বলেন, আমেরিকা প্রবাসী সৈয়দ জাকি হোসেন ও অস্ট্রেলিয়া প্রবাসী আমিন রহমানের সহযোগিতায় ভাব বাংলাদেশ শ্যামনগরে ৩২০ জন স্বল্প আয়ের অভিভাবক ও ননএমপিও শিক্ষক কর্মচারীদের আর্থিক সহযোগিতা করছে। উল্লেখ্য স্বেচ্ছাসেবী এই সংস্থাটি ২০১২ সাল থেকে শ্যামনগর উপজেলায় মাধ্যমিক শিক্ষার মান উন্নয়নে নানাবিধ প্রোগ্রাম পরিচালনা করে আসছে। যার ইতিবাচক প্রভাব ইতোমধ্যে স্কুলগুলোতে পড়তে শুরু করেছে।

The estimated value of garlic is Rs 1,500 in cash. The company is distributing 4 lakh 70 thousand rupees among 320 families in Shyamnagar.
